Children follow instructions to build a range of different WeDo.2 models. They are shown how to bring these models to life by attaching motors and sensors and then learn how to program and control these components using an app. The app uses Bluetooth technology to communicate with the smart hub.
We provide all the equipment required for the sessions to be a success; WeDo2 educational kits, tablets. The WeDo2 programming app is already downloaded onto our tablets and used offline so you can be assured that we provide a safe working environment for your children.
The WeDo2 programming software uses visual programming block strings and children are encouraged to experiment and test the success of their program codes using their models. This is a great way for children to learn about algorithms and debugging. The children often work in pairs during our workshops so they also develop their communication, cooperation and teamwork skills.
