Do your children enjoy building LEGO® models? Would they like to learn how to add motors and sensors to their models to bring them to life using a programming app? This class is an introduction to robotics and block programming using the LEGO® WeDo2 app. Learn how to use the app to make LEGO® models move by connecting and programming a motor and motion sensor. There will be a range of tasks to choose from on the day to allow for children who have attended before and for newcomers. Types of projects to be completed during the workshop, depending upon age, ability and previous experience are: Cooling Fan, Racing Spy Robots, Milo the Space Rover, Cycling Robots, Frogs, Buzzing Bees, Basketball Bots and Speed Machines. No prior experience required. Suitable for children aged 5-12yrs old. Parents are welcome to accompany their child to the session or they can drop them off and collect them at the end.
